Take pottery classes at The FORD Studios.
During this class, students will hand-build TWO necklaces and TWO pair of earrings with step-by-step instruction. Sizes, shapes & patterns will vary depending up participants choices.
Jewelry will be glazed in your choice of Gardenia (white), Bluebell (blue ), Sage (green) & Lavender (grayish purple). Add'l colors may be available at class time, depending on availability. The current images are just two possibilities.
The pieces you make will be for pickup on or around August 6th.
Only available for private classes & the open registration dates listed below at this time.
PRIVATE PARTIES:
- ADULT private party: You must have a party of 6-9 people (age 13 ) OR are must be willing to pay for at least 6 class spots.
- KIDS private party: You must have FOUR parent/child pairs (4 adults, 4 kids) or be willing to pay for 4 pairs. Kids must be at least 8 years old. You will only make one set each (1 necklace, 1 pair of earrings EACH), not two, but the price is only $50 per pair.

GUIDELINES:
- LIMITED SEATING: Each session is limited to 9 people.
- LENGTH of STUDIO TIME: up to THREE HOURS.
- AGE LIMIT: Participants must be at least 13 years or older unless it is a kids private party (see above). There must be a supervising adults for ages 13-17.
- No one may accompany you unless they are also participating in the class.
- PICK UP: The pieces you make will be for pickup on or around August 6th. Please be sure to provide an email address and/or phone number to be notified when your pottery is available for pickup.
- APRONS not provided. Please bring/wear something you don't mind getting dirty; however, you will be using non-staining porcelain clay... so it will wash out of clothing.
FEES:
- $60 per person. This fee covers the studio time, teaching materials, finish glazing, firing & clean up. You are paying for the class experience, not the final product. You make the pottery, we will glaze & fire the pieces. We will do our very best while finishing your pieces; however, we cannot guarantee the outcome will be functional pottery.

*** You may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund if you email your request to cancel to by 5pm EST three days prior to your reserved studio session. After that, you will not receive a refund.
**** You may bring your own beverages; however, alcoholic beverages are only allowed in classes where all participants are a part of the same party or all participants consent.
**** There are 6 parking spaces in the garage attached to the rear of the building located at 103 Pendleton St, Marion VA 24354. The spaces are clearly marked with The FORD Studios logo. If all the gallery spaces are full, there is street parking is available on Main Street.
